Career Fairs for Programmers 2012(Targi Kariery Programisty) took place on May 12th In Novotel Hotel, Warsaw. The idea behind this event was to create a meeting place for programmers looking for a new job and companies wanting to hire professionals. Career fairs is a perfect opportunity to chat with your colleagues, network with potential employers and learn something more about the job market and programming itself.
Once more Samsung invites all mobile developers to take part in Samsung Smart App Challenge 2012 and collect a total of $4.08 million in prizes. The contest starts May 7th, and its goal is to expand the ecosystem for GALAXY Tab and GALAXY Note.
Despite being root of all evil, optimization is a very important thing for mobile developers and due to devices’ limitations it doesn’t seem that it will change soon.
Imagine a place where all the elements meet – ideas, skills, energy, mentorship and an opportunity. Imagine a spacious, inspiring interior with a fenomenal view from the 12th floor of a skyscraper located in the heart of Warsaw. And finally imagine 24 hours of fun, work, tears and blood that follow creating a project from scratch. That was Hackwaw.
We are proud to present another installment of Appspirina mini - our admission free workshops for mobile developers, which will be held on the on March 29th in Warsaw (club Piaskownica, at Lipowa 7 Str.).
We will be talking about new tools for responsive websites, and about the importance of content in mobile development. The workshop will be conducted by Wojtek Zając and Karolina Szczur. Karolina is a designer and front end developer at XHTMLized. Earlier she cooperated with such companies as AdTaily or Applicake. Currently she is busy with her thesis on mobile interfaces design and development. Wojtek is a Head of mobile, president of Krakow office at XHTMLized. He created front end for Twitter, Fox Broadcasting Company, governmental and higher education institutions around the world. Currently he is occupied with mobile optimization of 30 radio sites for Rogers, Canada’s biggest media company.
The sponsor of the event will be Onet, the most popular medium of the polish network.

Feel invited to Appspirina mini, another event from the famous series of barcamps organized by MobileDeveloper.pl. On March 22nd we invade Poznan, where we and our awesome speakers can be found at Zielona Gęś pub at 6 Nowowiejskiego Str. The topic is simple but how extraordinary: Animations and Augmented Reality in iOS. The keynotes will be given by Piotr and Michal Tuszynski from Appvetica lab, well-known from our previous events.

We would like to invite you to Appspirina mini - GoogleTV edition, admission free workshop on GoogleTV programming, that will take place on February 28th, in Warsaw at Dziekanat 161 pub (161L Nowoursynowska Str.)
The meeting is designed for beginners or developers wanting to start programming GoogleTV. The speaker will be Lukasz Anwajler from code quest and he will give and introduction to some basic issues and good pracitcies concerning the platform.
The event kicks-off at 7PM. It will be held in English.

We would like to invite you to Appspirina mini - admission free workshop on iOS programing, that will take place on January 24, in Gdansk at Polufka pub (18 Leczkowa Str.)
The meeting is designed for beginners or developers wanting to start their adventure with iOS. Basic issues concerning the system will be introduced by Michael and Peter Tuszynski, experienced developers from Appvetica mobile lab. After a brief introduction they will build a simple app from scratch, live in front of the attendees.

Po krótkiej przerwie organizacyjnej - wracamy! Startup Weekend Warsaw - to nasz plan na nadchodzący weekend. Nie możemy zdradzić szczegółów, ale poza relacją dla Was, napiszemy appkę na Androida. Jeżeli też się wybierasz, programujesz lub masz inne przydatne umiejętności a jednocześnie nie masz pomysłu na własny projekt, to świetnie - masz niepowtarzalną szansę dołączyć do naszej ekipy i poznać naszą pracę od kuchni. Do zobaczenia!
W sobotę zgodnie z planem odwiedziliśmy łódzką, bardzo bojowo nastawioną imprezę - Mobilization. To pierwsze tego typu wydarzenie w Łodzi, dlatego z entuzjazmem przyjęliśmy wiadomość o jej organizacji i objęliśmy patronat medialny nad imprezą.
Przybyliśmy na miejsce trzy minuty po godz. 10 i ku naszemu zaskoczeniu było już po musztrze - pierwszy wykład już trwał - brawa za punktualność. Było nam trochę smutno, bo w przeciwieństwie do uczestników nie otrzymaliśmy żadnych identyfikatorów, więc nie mogliśmy podrywać dziewczyn na markę MobileDeveloper.pl, organizatorzy uraczyli nas za to vipowską wejściówką na obiad. Ruszyliśmy na pierwszą prezentację.
Wybieramy się jutro na łódzką imprezę Mobilization. Spodziewajcie się niebawem materiału wideo. Co ciekawego pojawi się na samej imprezie?
Ekipa MobileDeveloper.pl nie zdążyła jeszcze porządnie odpocząć po Google Developer Day, a Apple już przedstawił swoją propozycję.
