We are happy that after few months of preparations we can invite you to our next event - Cracow.mobi! Let’s proceed to details: 18 speakers, 300 participants, 2 days (9-10th December) with 2 tracks each and beautiful city - Cracow. What’s on the table? Android, iOS, Windows Phone 7 and Mobile Web so we present everything what matters on the market.

Let’s have a short overview who will speak during the event.

Paweł Zięba - Best Practices for SQLite in Android.

Paweł is experienced Android developer. He’s also contributes to developers community - he is one of Google Technology User Group organizers and Polish Android Group member. Since most not trivial Android applications use SQLite we believe the subject is very important and we hope Paweł will give interesting lecture.

Arkadiusz Haszto - Mobile solutions in ERP systems - users needs

Mobile applications increase their share in enterprise software market. We hope Arkadiusz will tell something more about good user experience and how to improve it.

    Jacek Laskowski - RESTful Android

If you are web developer you probably know something about REST architecture. If you are mobile developer and wrote some apps that communicate with HTTP back end there are big chances you also used it. Jacek Laskowski will provide some examples how to improve quality of REST implementation on Android.

Jacek has huge Java experience. He is the founder of the Warsaw Java User Group.

Piotr Peszko - m-Learning Design - Open Mind for a different view

Piotr is researcher interested in e-learning. While it’s hot topic - not many companies focus on using mobile devices in this area. We hope Piotr will introduce some new ideas regarding using new technologies in e-learning.

Bartosz Bartykowski - Developing games for mobile platforms

Mobile game development is a rapidly growing market, so we expect that Bartek’s presentation will attract many developers. Building games has been always perceived as something magical so during this talk you’ll learn some tricks and see how you can build your own world which is accessible from smartphone. Sounds interesting, isn’t it?

Krystian Czepiel - Windows Phone 7

Krystian has huge experience with Microsoft technologies. Windows Phone 7 is a quite new player on the market so it’s a good opportunity to take a closer look at it and decide if it’s worth spending your time on.

Krzysztof "Procek" Ścira - PhoneGap - Creating universal mobile applications - debugging

Everyone can write PhoneGap app (or believes she/he can), but debugging sounds a little more interesting. Most of the presentations about PhoneGap we saw were easy to summarize: “You can write app in HTML5 and using PhoneGap you can build native application. Thank you.” We hope Krzysztof will show some fresh stuff in this subject.

Konrad Malawski - Deep dive into RoboGuice - beyond “Hello World” apps

Konrad is experienced programmer and speaker/trainer - he organizes Android workshops. He is heavily involved in Java User Group and Google Technology User Group communities.

We love dependency injection and the way how this concept simplifies complex apps by removing initialization boilerplate and provides easy way to change programs’ modules - this can be extremely useful during JUnit testing. Since Konrad is going to go “beyond Hello World apps” we expect this presentation extremely interesting.

Michał Tuszyński - Data Persistence in iOS

Michał is experienced mobile developer from Warsaw, working now in new mobile lab - Appvetica. He is also organizer of Appsterdam Embassy Warsaw. We know Michał for some time and we need to admit that he’s one of the most talented people we know in the subject of mobile applications. There aren’t many iOS presentations nowadays so we’re happy that Michał will introduce topic of data persistence on this platform. Can’t wait to see it!

Krzysztof Wacławek - Promoting mobile applications

If you are interested in startups - you most likely already know Krzysztof very well, he’s founder of CityRace.me, winner of first Polish Startup Weekend, member of Warsaw Hackerspace and 24/7/365 hustler. Creating a buzz is a skill Krzysztof was born with and he’ll share his thoughts on it. He’s very talented speaker so we’re sure that during his presentation there will be no place for boredom.

Tomasz Kolinko - Promoting mobile applications

If you visit café very often you’ll see there are people meeting together, hipsters writing in their diaries and you can also notice very tall guy programming mobile games - it is Tomasz. He’s very active person in startup community, Aula speaker and Toastmaster club president. Tomasz develop iOS games and software for his own brand - Motivapps. He has a great experience both as a speaker and developer so if you’re interested in promoting your application you can’t miss his speech. Lot of humor included.

Karolina Szczur - There is no Mobile Web: Understanding Responsive Web Design

    Bartek Stańkowski - Mobile JavaScript

Both Karolina and Bartek work for XHTMLized which is one of the most recognized company developing front end in the world. Karolina will focus on responsive web design - a crucial aspect of mobile web development nowadays, unfortunately rarely met in practice. Bartek’s attention will be directed to using JavaScript in mobile environments - we know there are many JS frameworks and we hope Bartek will tell us how to swim with sharks and play with fire.

Marek Defeciński - Testing in Android

Marek is member of Java User Group Łódź and organizer of first mobile conference in Łódź - Mobilization. We’ve already seen one of his presentations about testing and what we learned from it - Marek has a lot to say in this topic. We expect Marek to present testing solutions for big projects, so if you are just beginning your trip about Android - better read some documentation first!

Karol Kozimor - Threading Objective-C / Cocoa Touch

Karol is member of Warsaw Hackerspace, Linux kernel hacker and iOS developer. At iOSynergy he develops hardware accessories for iPhones and iPods, including barcode scanners for logistics and warehouses. During Cracow.mobi Karol will present topic of threading in Objective-C applications. We think it will be one of the most interesting topics during the whole conference!
